Great sushi doesn't have to mean ordering from a restaurant. A piece of parchment paper is all you need to make delicious sushi at home! No special equipment needed.
Spoon the white sushi rice on the nori. Keep the rice from sticking by dipping your fingers in water. Use your fingers to spread the rice out evenly, leaving a border at the top & bottom.
Tips:
Make a batch of sushi rice ahead of time to speed things up.
Always use your sharpest knife when cutting the sushi.
Use parchment paper instead of a bamboo mat and plastic wrap.
