Make this healthy weeknight dinner in 30 minutes with whatever you have on hand.

Quick and Easy Stir Fry


1 lb of protein 3 tablespoons olive oil 4 cups veggies 3 garlic cloves stir fry sauce 1 tablespoon minced ginger 3 chopped green onions cooked brown rice

Pick a Protein

First, select a protein like beef, pork, or chicken breast. Then, partially cook the protein in a preheated wok & transfer it to a plate.

Hearty Vegetables

Next, add bell pepper, green beans, bok choy, or broccoli to the hot pan. Cook the vegetables until caramelized.

Tender Vegetables

Stir in tender vegetables such as snow peas & bean sprouts, plus add the ginger, garlic, and green onion.

Stir Fry Sauce

In a bowl, whisk the stir fry sauce to distribute the cornstarch, and then season with salt and pepper.  (Stir fry sauce recipe is in the blog post!)

Finish Up

Add the protein back in, and then pour the stir fry sauce. Bring to a boil and cook until it thickens.


Serve the stir fry over steamed brown or white rice, and garnish with sesame seeds & a drizzle of sesame oil.


Leave out the protein in the chicken stir fry recipe to make a hearty veggie stir fry without meat.
