ngredients:
-Ahi tuna steak -Tamari -Lime juice -Garlic -Honey -Vegetable oil

Whisk together tamari, lime juice, garlic, honey, lime juice and oil. This will be the marinade for the tuna.

Pour the marinade over a 1 1/2- to 2-inch thick ahi tuna steak and turn it to coat. Refrigerate 30 minutes to 3 hours.

Remove the tuna from the marinade and pat it dry using paper towels.

Heat oil in a cast iron skillet until shimmering. Add the tuna steak and cook until browned on the bottom, 2-3 minutes.

Flip the tuna over and cook until browned on the other side (but still rare in the center), 2-3 minutes longer.
let the seared tuna steak rest for 5 minutes, then cut it into slices against the grain.
