A classic dessert that's a breeze to make, this gluten-free strawberry crisp is always a hit. Whip up this warm, easy treat for your next potluck or family picnic.

Ingredients

Oats Brown sugar Cinnamon Ground nutmeg Salt Pecans Butter or coconut oil Strawberries Vanilla bean or extract Ground cardamom Cornstarch

In a food processor, grind oats to a coarse flour.

Pulse in the melted butter, spices, brown sugar, nuts and remaining oats.

Combine the strawberries with vanilla, cardamom, brown sugar, and cornstarch.

Transfer the strawberry mixture to a baking dish and add the crisp topping.

Bake until berries are bubbling and the topping is golden brown.
